Why this works. Wanting has a half-life. Retail knows it, which is why everything ships tonight and the button says now. Twenty-four hours is usually enough for a want to declare itself: the real ones survive the night, the rest evaporate without a refund request.
This is the only store interested in the second kind. Every want that evaporates here is money that stayed yours, and closet space that stayed empty.
